Day 297
Oh my soul is wracked with guilt...Henry was sucking on a sucker today and in his cute Henry way, he kept offering it to me and finally I just sucked on it for a second and he was so happy he did it again..and then I realized hey this is sugar..so then I had to say no to his cute little game. I told Johnny and he said that he could understand being bewitched by the cuteness of Hank and thus it doesn't count. So, with the exception of quick unwanted lolli lick, I'm sugar free.

Day 296
Christened my kayak the Sugar Free 365 today with a sharpie marker ;-) Made and iced cupcakes with Cammie and Cal tonight and did not every lick my finger. No sugar added.

Day 277
My kayak's maiden voyage on a very windy Chatfield. There was a moment when I was just sitting in the middle of the gravel pond and squadron of pelicans flew overhead and I thought, "I'd go another year without sugar for this moment." It was transcendent.

Day 274
So we blew up one of the kayaks in the living room last night...we had thought the air mattress pump would do it quicker than the foot pump that came with it..boy were we wrong..it was seriously funny how quickly it went after trying to blow the darn thing up for 20 minutes the other way.
Oh and yes the FedEx man tried to give me a cheesecake from NY today while I was on the desk. I ponted out that it was in fact not a cheesecake for the library, rather it was for a law clerk. The FedEx man said, "Well darn it, I tried to give you a cheesecake to make your day." I just laughed...little did he know..that cheesecake would have not made my day..it would have taunted you. For those who don't know cheesecake is one of my top three downfalls..I love the stuff..the rich creaminess is lovely...during certain periods of my life..oh lets say most of 2002, I pretty much lived on the stuff...and I'm not about to blow it now..not with a kayak waiting for it's maiden voyage on Saturday.
No sugar added..and especially no FedExed Cheesecake Added.

The kayaks have come, the kayaks have come, the kayaks have come!!! and are waiting on the porch at home...now I must get my last assignment done by Saturday so we can go kayaking this weekend.
Oh yeah..and no sugar added! As if, even though the kayaks have come early...I shan't blow my last three months.
